Torres and Associates was established by Juan Jose Torres back in November of 1980. Juan migrated over to the United States from Mexico City in 1969. There has always been a strong influence from family when it came to career goals. A lot of Juan’s uncles were also accountants which sparked his interest in this field of business. Having had studied at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), Juan obtained a degree in Bachelors of science in Accounting. Not only did Juan pursue his dream of becoming an Accountant but also opening his very own accounting firm. Coming from a background that values family and the importance of giving back to the community Juan decided to open his business in Little Village, Chicago.
